Make it smack, crack, and pop...

    Oh boy, snare, if you are an engineer, you know that this is the thing a lot people listen to first! Drummers and engineers are always talking about the snare. I have drummer friends that have 10-20 snares, others have even more! I’ve seen fights break out in the studio over what the snare should be..

:)  Not really, but I am sure its happened.

    So, at the risk of repeating myself, listen to what was recorded. If you read about the kick drum cool, if not, go back and read the first part.

    I do little the same as the kick drum until I get to EQ.
